TSM is qualified for the application of the metallization process using two alternative methods depending on the conditions of the substrate; the choice depends on technical considerations.

All Thermal Spray processes are based on the same principle: pulverize a material, in the form of wire or powder, to apply it with the force of air pressure on the substrate. The particles will then impact the substrate solidifying and immediately forming a barrier against corrosion.

Typical applications are: dimensional recovery of worn parts, corrosion protection and anchor for other coatings.
